Usage method:

1. Insert the 9V dry battery into the battery slot on the back of the tester

2. Insert the banana plug into the grounding wire socket at the top of the 498 tester

3. Tighten the wrist strap tightly (anti-static wrist strap needs to be purchased separately)

4. Connect the grounding wire to the wrist strap

5. Press the tester with your hand, and the indicator light will light up and you will hear a sound

1. LOW red light on: low, resistance<800 kiloohms, need to check wrist strap and ground resistance, it has an impact on the human body.

2. G00D green light on: normal, 800 kiloohms ≤ R<9 megaohms, grounding system safety beep.

3. HIGH red light on: high, resistance>9 megohms. Check if the wrist strap is securely attached to the skin and check the resistance between the wrist strap and the ground wire to ensure that the ground wire is not broken.

How to Use it?

Clamp the alligator clip of the tester to the grounding clip of the wristband to be tested (the cordless wristband needs to clamp
the top screw)
Press the middle test plate of the tester with the hand wearing wristband
If the grounding system is normal, the green "GOOD" light will light up, which indicating that the wristband can be used normally.
If the "HIGH" or "LOW" lights on both sides are on, it means that the wristband cannot be used normally.
