Clean room mats also known as sticky mats, that help pickup impurities for door entrances that require dust and dirt control.
Our clean room sticky mats feature a tacky surface which removes dirt and dust from shoe or cart castor before they enter. 

Sticky mat can vary in sizes, colors, placement, and numbers based on the characteristics and logistics of each cleanroom.

Placement

Matting should be placed in an area where it is clean and flat. It should be placed just before or just after the ingress/ egress point for each cleanliness or control change. It is suggested that the placement sites are worked backward from the final clean area or cleanroom.

Size

The proper size mat depend on the width of the opening and direction and variance of the traffic.

Normally the width of mat should be 2/3rds to 3/4ths of the width of the doorway.

It does not normally need to cover the full width as usually approaching from the straight direction, passes through middle of the doorway.

However, if the traffic enters from the side of the entry or at a sharp angle, then the width of the mat needs to be wider so as to allow for enough footstep. 

Color

The color of sticky mats can vary from standard blue, white, grey or transparent. The color will not effect on the function of the mat. In general, the blue color is preferred by most electronics industry to make sure the layers are changed at frequent intervals. However, white and grey is also popular for hospital or pharmaceutical industry. 

Widely used in entrance of clean rooms, food manufacturing, labs, electronics etc.
